On March 16 the BBC aired an interview with Turkish PM Erdogan in which he said that around 100,000 illegal immigrants from Armenia could be deported. The Armenian Foreign Ministry has refused to comment on Erdogan's statement, but head of the Immigration Service of Armenia Gagik Eganian has stated that according to the data available to him there are under 10,000 Armenian migrants in Turkey.

Analyst Artak Shakarian thinks that maybe Turkey will symbolically deport a certain number of Armenians from Turkey as an indirect response to the US resolution on the Armenian genocide.
