Odessa- Brody oil pipeline

Political changes in Ukraine will not influence the implementation of the Odessa-Brody pipeline project, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdulaev, has stated, claiming that the Ukrainian Government was trying to take the greatest benefit from this project.
Azerbaijan is the main oil supplier to the pipeline which was finished in May 2002. At the same time Azerbaijan can playa transit role as well, as Central Asian oil could pass through this pipeline. The Odessa -Brody pipeline must be prolonged in the direction of Plock and Gdansk to work more efficiently.
