Monday, April 12
During the visit of Azeri Industry and Energy Minister Natik Aliev to Bucharest on April 10-14 a special agreement will be signed on mutual cooperation in the sphere of natural gas supply. Under this agreement a special liquid gas producing refinery will be constructed near the Kulevi Terminal in Georgia so that gas can be transported to Romania and Bulgaria for re-export to other European countries.

A feasibility study will be undertaken which will examine all possible models for this transport system and establish which is the most profitable way of establishing a transport corridor to deliver Azeri gas to Europe. Such a corridor would be very beneficial for Georgia as whether this gas is transported through Turkey or via the Black Sea Georgia must play a part in this process.
