ProCredit Bank is continuing to fund its modern art support project ProArt, said its Chair Maia Meredova on May 14.

ProArt is one of the most successful projects recently undertaken by ProCredit Bank. It was launched in 2007, when nearly 40 Georgian painters exhibited their work in different branches of the Bank in Tbilisi and the regions. This year's ProArt will involve Georgian photographers, the 60 participants having already been chosen by a special jury of famous Georgian photographers and art critics. Their works will be exhibited in all Pro Credit Bank branches till the end of the year.

“I am very glad that ProArt is successful. I hope this project will help the Georgian public get acquainted with interesting works by famous and less famous Georgian photographers. It is also an opportunity for photographers to display their work to the public. Many talented people will be discovered through the exhibitions. Pro Credit Bank is interested in conducting social projects and supporting them,” Meredova said, adding that the photographs will be on the themes such as Georgian nature, environmental pollution, small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia, Georgian agriculture, Children in Georgia and Georgian culture and society.

As Tekle Gurielidze, PR manager of the Bank, told The Messenger, "This project will not identify a winner, as all the participants will be winners as their works will be shown to the public. After the project ends we will create a special catalogue of their works which will be given to customers and long term clients,” Gurielidze said.
