Turkey, Russia and Ukraine initiate new Black Sea Union

Turkish newspaper Hurriyet states that the Defence Ministers of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine are working on creating of joint security system in the Black Sea Basin.Negotiations on this have already been underway for a long time. They were suspended during the Presidency of Viktor Youshchenko in Ukraine but have been renewed since Yanukovich's victory.
Hurriyet says that it is not yet known how NATO will assess this initiative, as Turkey is a NATO member. It says that according to its information a top ranking Turkish delegation will visit Moscow in mid-July, and presumably will discuss this issue with the Russian authorities.
