As the newspaper Tehran Times reports, Armenia and Iran are ready to sign a document on free trade. The event will take place during the visit of Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Nerses Eritsian, to Tehran. This decision was taken during the July meeting in Yerevan with Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchekhr Motaki. According to both countries’ officials, free trade will facilitate an increase of the trade turnover between the neighbor countries, estimated to be in the region of USD 500 million.
