Iran and Azerbaijan increasing their trade turnover

Thursday, September 23 Iran and Azerbaijan are expressing their readiness to increase their annual trade turnover to the amount of USD 10 billion annually. Today the annual turnover between two countries is around USD half a billion. The current construction of the Reshti- Astara railway is taking place between Iran and Azerbaijan which will contribute to achieving the economic goal. There is big potential for further economic cooperation between the two countries which has not yet properly materialised.
