PM Nika Gilauri has stated that, in 2010, the government has taken more efficient steps to appropriately allocate the grape harvest in comparison to previous years. The Premier informed that the export of Georgian wine is increasing annually and that the demand for Georgian wine around the world is reasonably high. The PM highlighted the extra efforts that Georgia has taken regarding increasing its export to Turkey as well as increasing marketing activities for the purposes of entering and enlarging Georgian wine exports into the USA.

So, the main agricultural product export has benefited from significant support from the Government. Hopefully similar steps will be taken towards Georgian mineral water as well as some other agricultural products.
