The flow of investment into Georgia was increasing after the Rose revolution; however the Russian invasion has resulted in this slowing down. Currently, the Georgian administration is trying to attract investments from different sources. This time Georgia is doing its best to attract investments from China and India. During the PM’s visit to China and later in India, serious work was done. Georgia was promoting itself to China, namely with a view to investing in the construction of hydro power stations, as well as transport infrastructure to increase Georgia’s transit potential. Georgia is also conducting negotiations with Indian companies involved in electricity production, in particular Khudonis hydro electro power station construction.
