Azerbaijan and Turkey main trade partners

According to statistics for January-October 2010 Georgia’s major trading partner is Turkey. Foreign trade turnover with Turkey in this period was USD 867 million, of which Georgian exports were USD 177 million, while imports from Turkey were USD 690 million. All these figures increased over last year. Georgia’s total trade turnover during the period was more than USD 5 billion, with an all round increase compared to last year. Georgia’s second biggest partner in trade turnover is Azerbaijan with a total of USD 547 million, of which Georgian exports were USD 193 million. In third place is Ukraine with USD 506 million.
