Turkish minister on South Caucasus problems

During his visit to Kars, the Turkish Economy Minister, Nikhad Ergun stated that if the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia as well as Turkey and Armenia were to be solved then the region would have great potential. According to the minister, construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is a very important project which could facilitate huge investment in region, transforming it into a powerful industrial centre. He also emphasised that it is very important for Turkey that the Karabakh conflict is resolved and pointed out that Turkey is very tolerant country and hopes for solutions for all the region’s problems.
