Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and NABUCCO

Azerbaijan, and very possibly Kazakhstan will participate in the NABUCCO project providing it with natural gas. Both of these countries can exploit the Caspian Sea bed reserves of natural gas. There are still problems concerning Caspian Sea division among the Caspian countries. The final decision on who else will participate in the NABUCCO project is still under question, though the participants of the project are optimistic and aim to start the implementation from next year. Kazakhstan recently expressed its interest in participating in the project.
