Armenia hopes to balance export-import volumes

An official Yerevan has stated that economic growth during the first 11 months of this year in Armenia reached 2.6%. The 2011 state budget is fixed at 4.6% for economic growth. In 2010 Armenia’s export increased by 41% while imports grew by only 14%. So, as head of the parliamentary commission for finances and budget issues, Gagik Minasian believes the country is moving towards the direction of balancing its export and import figures.
