The World Bank's Armenia office believes that Armenia’s economy showed some recovery in 2010 with an increase in GDP to 2.4%. Moreover in 2011 Armenia’s GDP might grow up to 4-5%. Of course so far Armenia’s economy is not very sustainable as it is quite vulnerable. There are serious shortcomings in the agriculture and construction sectors due to a substantial decrease in money transfers coming into the country. But overall if the country manages to overcome these economic shortcomings, the tendencies could be positive.
