This is 16% less than in 2009. This is a very worrying fact because in the beginning of 2010 Georgian authorities expected to receive over USD 1 bln.. In 2010, the biggest investor in Georgia was the Netherlands, then USA and Russia followed by international financial organizations, Azerbaijan, UAE, Turkey and so on. The biggest share of investments was targeted towards the transportation and communication sectors. Next on the list were industry and banking followed by real estate and energy.
