WB video conference

World Bank’s Country Office in Tbilisi participated in a live video conference dedicated to the WB’s 2011 World Development Report (WDR) on Conflict, Security and Development held in Washington DC in the WB headquarters.

The topic discussed was “The Transition Moments: Past and Present” concerning similar changes underway around much of the World and discussing South Africa as a model for transition process. Senior experts in the field participated in the discussion answering the questions, which alongside to Washington audience were asked from Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia etc. WB offices.
