Romania Azerbaijan cooperation

The President of Romania visited Azerbaijan on April 18-19.

Traian Basescu stated that Azerbaijan is a bridge for Romania to the Caspian Sea basin whereas Romania is a bridge for Azerbaijan into Europe. Romania supports the NABUCCO project as well as the AGRI project. According to the latter, Azeri liquid gas should be provided to Romania via Georgia while the NABUCCO project will also be passing through Georgia.
