Land lots are sold

The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development recently started an intensive sale of certain lots of its land. It has already sold more than 65mln sq. metres of the land, receiving around 3.5 mln GEL for it. Independent analysts are criticizing the current steps of the ministry as according to them the lands are sold but not registered appropriately. Their price does not correspond to the market price. According to the analysts it looks like the ministry wants to raise a certain amount of money for the state budget and does not care for the consequences.
