Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway construction successfully continues

The works for the constriction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railways are going very well according to the Azeri Transport Minister. The 158 km long segment of Marabda Akhalkalaki is undergoing some essential building as part of its rehabilitation. There are already projects prepared whereby railway carriages' wheels are changing at the depot in Akhalkalaki as well as a tunnel bordering Georgia with Turkey. It is planned that through this railway more than 30 mln tonnes of cargo will be transported.
