Korean Company to Invest USD 1 bln in Georgia

The largest Korean investment company IDA Korea intends to invest One Billion Dollars in Georgia.
A memorandum of mutual understanding was signed by the General Director of IDA Korea and the director of Georgian investment agency CCII on May 09.
The investor is interested in the spheres such as: hotels’ building, tourism, energy.
The construction of a new five-star hotel in Tbilisi is also planned.
The Korean side is also interested in constructing hotels in mountain resorts of Georgia.
