Armenian MP, Stepan Saparian, thinks that the Baku-Tbilisi-Cars railway, alongside other similar projects is a political project. Saparian mentioned that the Armenian Government and officials were not paying due attention to the situation around the country. So as a result of such an approach Armenia consider that pipelines running from Caspian Sea region towards Turkey, transport not only gas and oil but politics as well. Armenian officials think that the Baku-Tbilisi Kars railway is leaving Armenia out of the East-West main route. So, Armenia faces serious challenges from this point of view.
