New centre to boost car sales in Georgia

A modern auto centre was officially opened in Rustavi on June 2. For the project GEL 4 million was invested by Iberia Business Group and the event was attended by Prime Minister, Nika Gilauri.
Georgia is taking a leading position in the direction of auto re-export in the region and after opening a modern auto centre, the export rate would be increased –Prime Minister , Gilauri stated and mentioned that, “ this auto centre also means many working places, cars are among Georgia's top exports because of simplified procedures . There is no faster service in the region in this field than in Georgia. “As Gilauri underlined, one can buy and put officially the car in an hour, which encourages foreigners to come to Georgia and buy cars here."
The new auto centre will have no equivalent in the region – the company states, “during the first two weeks our service will be free. The auto market and its auxiliary buildings are spread on 46 000 square km. The territory is divided into 4 zones and one terminal, which serves 2000 cars.” According to Iberia Business Group, the building process is practically complete, however by the end of the year some additional, extremely modern Prestige Auto Service will be added. This will enable the consumers to get unprecedented services here, including technical examination of their cars..
According to the President of Iberia Business Group, Tariel Khechikashvili, besides second hand cars, new ones will also been sold in the centre , “we will suggest our consumers new cars of such brands as VOLKSWAGEN, AUDI, SKODA, MITSUBISHI, RENAULT, NISSAN, INFINITI, PEUGEOT and KIA.”
When entering the centre, consumers will be given a special card, which will fix the date of arrival place and then the date when he leaves for the area. Hotels will also play a part in the market territory, when foreigners come to buy cars here. The website of the centre is also being created and will be ready for the end of June.
