In the second quarter of 2011, the number of employees in the business sector has decreased by around 5% compared with the same period of last year. Analysts suggest that the sector is still suffering from the global economic crisis. As a result, recruitment of new staff has stagnated while some employees are offloaded and those that remain benefit from salary raises. A further tendency is for the share of annual turnover and production to have increased in big business enterprises, while the share of medium size and small businesses shrinks.
