Azerbaijan Expects 2 mln Tourists in 2011

The minister of culture and tourism in Azerbaijan stated that the number of foreign tourists keeps increasing in Azerbaijan. According to him, the number of tourists by the end of 2011 might reach 2.1 mln. Up to the present day Azerbaijan was visited by more than 1.6 mln tourists. The country plans to attract more people and reach 3 mln tourists in the coming years. More and more tourist objects are constructed for the attraction of foreign visitors.
