The draft budget submitted to the Armenian parliament for the defense envisages $405 mln, which is almost 6% higher than 2011. This was stated by Armenia's Defense minister Seiran Iganyan. Most of this amount will be targeted for structural changes and more soldiers in the Armenian army. A certain part will go to modernizing arms and military technology. However there are no increases of salaries in the Armenian defense segment envisaged so far.
