2012 budget eleven times more than in 2003

Georgian PM Nika Gilauri stated recently that budget for 2012 is almost 11 times more than in 2003. Today it is around USD 5 bln. In regards of GDP its growth in 2012 will be around 5%. Expenditures will increase in the direction of healthcare and agriculture. From September 1, 2012 pensioners of the age of 67 will receive a pension of up to GEL 140. Special insurance programs will be elaborated for children up to 5 years old and for pensioners as well. Around GEL 1 bln will be spent on improving road infrastructure, water supply and energy.
