Saakashvili meets with Armenian lobbyists

On February 2, President Mikheil Saakashvili met with American-Armenian lobbyists and congress members in Washington, D.C.
The subject of their talk was the situation in Georgia's Samtskhe-Javakheti region, which is home to a large population of Armenian Georgians. The Americans seem satisfied with Saakashvili's remarks, and the results of their meeting.
Earlier, Georgia’s ambassador to the United States, Temur Yakobashvili, also spoke with representatives of Armenian Diaspora in the U.S.
