Armenia’s economy minister optimistic

In December 2011, Armenia’s government adopted a new industrial strategy. Recently, Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan stated that the new policy has already yielded positive results. In the first two months of 2012 the industrial growth reached 18%. Currently, the industry's share of GDP is more than 20%. More than 10 industrial sectors have the potential to increase exports and further develop. The country plans to increase its exports threefold by 2020.
