The import of vegetables into Georgia is on the rise, particularly from Turkey and Iran.

Potato imports reached almost $14 million USD in 2011, primarily from Turkey. Turkey also exports tomatoes to Georgia, $6.7 million worth last year. Vegetable imports also come from Iran - $16 million worth of onions, $3.4 million of cucumbers, and $2 million of carrots.
