Aliev touts Azerbaijan's economic achievements

Azeri President Ilham Aliev recently highlighted the achievements of Azerbaijan's economy. He says that since 1995, more than $120 billion USD was invested in his country, and its currency reserves are currently $40 billion.
Aliev called the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the Baku-Tbilisi-Arzerum gas pipeline the country's greatest successes. He discussed future plans, including further increases in exports of gas and oil, but also the diversification of the economy. The President says that Azeri natural gas reserves will last for one hundred more years, and oil reserves, 50 more years.
