Average salaries decrease in Georgia

Economic experts observe that the average salaries in Georgia have been decreased. A comparison was made between the average salaries at the beginning of 2011 and salaries at the end of 2011. When comparing Georgian salaries to the salaries of neighboring S. Caucasus post-Soviet states like Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgia is behind Azerbaijan and very close to the situation in Armenia. It should be said however that most of the Armenian families receive substantial assistance from the Armenian Diaspora around the world.
