Elections at ICC Georgia, the National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce

On 5 July, ICC-Georgia General Assembly convened at Betsy’s Hotel to elect seven new Board members including three Officers of the Board.
Fady Asly Chairman of the Board opened the meeting by welcoming the members and made a presentation of ICC-Georgia activities for the past two years;
Further to that he introduced 14 candidates to the Board who made a small presentation of themselves. ICC-Georgia new Board of Directors is the following:

1st Vice- Chairman: Lekso Aleksishvili - PMCG
2nd Vice- Chairman/Treasurer: Zurab Nikvashvili - Ernst & Young
Board member: Irakli Bokuchava - Catoni & Co
Board member: Michael Sounders - Sounders Group
Board member: Matthew Yaquinto - KPMG
Board member: Steve Johnson - Hotel Betsy’s
Board member: Nicoloz Mchedlishvili - Japan Tobacco International
Board member: Kakha Kuchava - Eristavi Law Group
Founded in 1919, ICC has been helping businesses in formulating their sound policy position at the national and international levels. To attain this objective, ICC has developed a range of activities. The ICC International Court of Arbitration is the most respected service of its kind in the world. Its voluntary rule-writing for business, spreads best practice in areas as varied as banking, marketing, and anti-corruption.
