Iran exploring new oil well in the Caspian Sea

Iran’s natural oil company has announced its exploration of a new well in the Caspian Sea bed and roughly estimated its reserves at around 2 billion barrels, as well as natural gas reserves of around 50 billion cubic meters. Despite the fact that the EU and US have imposed severe sanctions against Iran, Tehran continues exploring new possibilities of energy resources in the country.
