Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway to start running in 2014

The Azeri side is very much committed to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. They hope to start running it in 2014. All three sides highlight the strategic importance of this project for the further development of the economy of their countries. The appropriate ministers of the participant countries regularly meet and oversee the implementation of the project and coordinate activities. The project started in 2007 and hopefully will finish in due time.
