Social ads in service of agitation
Kviris Palitra writes that Transparency International Georgia has released a report on a social advertisement published recently. According to the reports, the social advertising is in the service of the ruling party. Those video ads include the Independent Energy Sector of Georgia, Dependable Energy Supply in Georgia, Made in Georgia, Ten-point Plan of the Government and Thirty New Hospitals in Thirty Days.
According to the organization, the ads are similar to the National Movement pre-election advertisements.
At the end of the report the organization hails the Interdepartmental Commission on Free and Fair Elections to conduct a detailed analysis of the aforementioned video ads and react respectively in accordance with their competence.
Former deputy foreign minister found dead
Rezonansi writes that Former Deputy Foreign Minister, Goga Gomiashvili, was found dead at his home. According to the information released, Gomiashvili committed suicide. He was working in the position during the time of Salome Zourabichvili’s ministry. He left his post in 2005 and moved to the business sector.
