Ukraine Vice PM, Sergey Tipitko, thinks that joining the free-trade zone of the CIS countries will be very profitable for Ukraine. According to him, the CIS market is a major market for the country. The EU comes next. Sometime ago, Ukrainian PM Azarov highlighted that the initiative to promote a free-trade zone among CIS countries was initiated by Ukraine. According to former president Viktor Yushchenko, this union would hinder Ukraine’s sovereignty and is targeted to further unite the countries in the attempt to bring back the Soviet system.
