Final figures FDI in 2011

Final figures concerning foreign direct investments for 2011 became available. According to this figures last year the country received 1.117 bln $ which is higher than previous year. As national statistical department informs Georgia received investments from 65 countries. In 2011 investments came from the Netherlands 22%; Azerbaijan 12%; Denmark 9% and other countries. The biggest investment came into energy sector as well as healthcare and construction sector. The FDI share in GDP in 2011 reached 7.8%.
