Armenia and the Eurasian Union

Armenian Prime Minister Tigan Sargsyan says his country has not yet received an invitation to join the proposed Eurasian union. Sargsyan stated that Armenia is still interested in joining the EU as well as the Russian-proposed Eurasian Union, adding that membership in both organizations is not mutually exclusive. This position is shared by the Russian government.
