Azeri economy leads the South Caucasus

There is a noticeable difference between the Azeri GDP and those of its two South Caucasian neighbors. The Azeri GDP is more than 40 billion USD whereas the Georgian GDP is around 14 billion USD and the Armenian GDP around 13 billion USD. Budgetary revenue per capita in Armenia is $650, in Georgia $900 and in Azerbaijan $3100. Azerbaijan is leading in the demographic situation as well. In 1926 for every 1000 Georgians there were 950 Azeris and 770 Armenians. In the beginning of 21st century for every thousand Georgians there were 2000 Azeris and 940 Armenians.
