Problems of small business

Analysts have observed that small business face serious problems in Georgia. Unfortunately the country is not doing much to support the development of small and medium sized businesses, rather it supports big businesses to become even bigger. According to official data, small and medium sized businesses employ only 38% of the population. Small and medium sized businesses support VAT of only 14.4%, whereas in the European Union, they create 68% of additional value.
