Turkmenistan is actively trying to locate extra reserves of oil in its sector of Caspian Sea. For these reasons, it hopes to attract different oil and gas exploring companies, such as Petronaz, Dragon Oil, Buried Hill, RWE, Itera and so on. Negotiations are underway with BP Chevron, Marathon, Exxon Mobile and Mubadala. Turkmen specialists think that huge reserves of gas and oil might be located at depths of 3,000 meters, so there are serious prospects that new energy gas and oil wells will be found in this area.
