“It is inevitable to call on the account of some of the former ministers,” declared analyst Soso Tsiskarishvili, during a meeting with journalists on October 23.
According to Tsiskarishvili, "it is impossible for society to forgive the crimes of Dimitri Shahskin, the former Minister of Education and Science, who arranged his life by taking money from others pockets,” said the analyst. Tsiskarishvili also stated that the ex-minister of Justice will also be taken into account by society.
Tsiskarishvili touched on the issues of corruption, “often there are talks that there is not corruption in Georgia any more. Unfortunately this is not so, when a main actor, such as Adeishvili, escapes from the country, it means that he was a criminal,” said Tsiskarishvili. Although Tsiskarishvili stated that those who have broken the law should be held accountable, he said that revenge is unacceptable, and only fairness should be prioritized.
Tsiskarishvili also commented on the issue of Lazika’s construction; he said that its future construction will be dictated by the state budget. “It may not be excluded as an idea,” but in his opinion, Lazika will not be a priority of the government.
