Tea Tsulukiani: "We are a society who must be able to co-exist peacefully”

This statement was made by the Minister Justice about the confrontation that occurred between the Orthodox Christians and Muslims in Tetritskaro, Rezonansi reports.

We have seen a violent-minded Orthodox group. Of course they were not given the right to confront a different religious group. The case will be investigated by the police.

We are interested how the confrontation started. Preliminary results of the survey showed that the representative of orthodox Christians frustrated Muslims prayer. But it appeared before that the Muslims broke crosses at the cemetery. These actions are wrong and we are going to investigate them.



Has Irakli Kadagishvili become the head of Free Democrats?!

One of the leaders of Free Democrats, Irakli Kadagishvili, who will be very soon appointed as the party chairman, stated via Kviris Palitra.

I have some experience in political life and that's why, I guess an assembly may elect me as a chairman for "Free Democrats". I am grateful to our team and Irakli Alasania for the trust .

According to the legislation, Irakli Alasania was able to stay as a party chairman as this is envisaged by European experience. But he wants to dedicate his energy to his work as a minister and vice premier and therefore he decided to resign, as he wants to stay maximally neutral.

We considered Irakli Alasania as a future president but according to the new constitution the president will have fewer rights. So this position will not be that significant for him.
