Gazprom increases price for Armenia

Armenia’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister– Armen Movsisian, said on December 13, Russian state controlled company Gazprom is planning to increase the price of natural gas for Armenia. The minister said negotiations over the issue are underway. On August 8, 2012, the presidents of Armenia and Russia achieved a consensus in this regard while meeting in Moscow. They both agreed for the need of certain regulations and the sides would agree on an acceptable price. The details will be known by the end of this year.
