Some Belgian and Austrian EU MPs expressed their utmost concern about the work of the Armenian nuclear power station which they say is obsolete and contains serious risks. The Armenian nuclear power station is located in an active seismic zone and it is similar to the one that exploded in Chernobyl over 25 years ago. Turkish, Azerbaijani and Georgian analysts, as well as the media have expressed their concern about this fact many times, though Armenian officials assure all parties that the nuclear power station is safe and secure.
