New oil and gas fields in Iran

Iran has recently announced that it has discovered serious deposits of oil and gas on its boarding areas with Iraq. Due to international sanctions against Iran the country is permanently loosing revenues for selling its oil. According to the expert evaluation Iran holds 4th position with the reserves of oil after Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Canada whereas it runs 2nd after Russia with its reserves of natural gas.
