Georgia’s 2013 state budget totals about 8.7 billion GEL. It exceeds the 2012 state budget by over 600 million GEL. Budgetary revenues could be fulfilled through economic growth and the increase of revenue payments. The Georgian Dream leadership is optimistic and thinks it can attract more investments which will eventually boost the economy. However, oppositional United National Movement (UNM) is skeptical towards this issue.
