Dollar starts week in Armenia with gain

The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.52/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday; this is a 0.13-percent—or an AMD 0.52—rise from last week’s exchange rate. As a result, the one-week exchange-rate-stability period has come to an end.

Monday’s sales totaled $4.79 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American dollar’s buying and selling exchange rates fluctuate between the AMD 405-408/$1 range respectively, and the US national currency gained value by approximately AMD 1 over the weekend. (News.Am)
