More than half of investments in Armenia are from Russia

57% of investments to Armenia are from Russia. The most significant of the investments with Russia’s participation is the construction of a new nuclear power station, which is to be built by Russia. Russian capital also participates in the exploration of uranium; the construction of the electric power station and Russia is exploiting and managing Armenian railways. There are more than 1,200 enterprises registered in Armenia that are being financed by Russian capital.
