Old cars serious problem for Georgia

There are about 750, 000 cars registered in Georgia. Out of these, 80% are 15-20 years old. 44% of the cars are even older than 20 years. Very few are newer models. Importers of new cars think that the import of older second-hand vehicles should be restricted, whereas the businessmen involved in the auto import business are firmly against such an initiative. Experts in this field think that it is better if the state provides a serious technical inspection of the cars instead of restrictions. This will automatically resolve the problem. It has become known that from January 2014 a navigator technical inspection will be established for all vehicles.
